Wellness Wednesday
This week's topic is Faith.
I was extremely blessed to be given an amazing name at birth. I know my father fought for my name, Faith. My love for my father is as significant and powerful now, as it was back then. My best memories as a little girl were with my dad at the beach, in the ocean, riding bicycles on the boardwalk, and singing songs with him.
Since my dad’s passing, I have had many health issues, and the road to optimal health has been a hard one. The medical community does not really know much about grief and loss, and this is very unfortunate. They also do not know anything about a woman's intuition, and the role intuition can play in healing.
Whether one believes in God, or believes that our loved ones watch over us, is really not the point of this post. This post is for anyone reading this to get crystal clear on what they themselves believe. Everyone has a belief in something, and usually this is where they put their trust. Many place their trust in their doctors (to “cure” them), many place their trust in government (that government will solve all the world's problems), many place their trust in money (that money is the “answer” to everything), etc....
Part of my own wellness journey has been to deepen my faith and my trust in God, and to be true to my higher guidance, my own intuition, and my deep discernment. I know what I believe in my heart, about life, God, and love.
I am still here, by the grace of God, and Faith is indeed the perfect name for me. I believe now, more than ever, that there is a divine tapestry in each of our lives, and the key is to be present, and self aware enough to align with it.
Here are my top 11 favorite quotes on Faith:

“Faith is deliberate confidence in the character of God whose ways you may not understand at the time.” - Oswald Chambers
“I have come to the conclusion that the most important element in human life is faith.” - Rose Kennedy
“In faith there is enough light for those who want to believe and enough shadows to blind those who don’t.” - Blaise Pascal
“I have not lost faith in God. I have moments of anger and protest. Sometimes I’ve been closer to him for that reason.” - Elie Wiesel
“Faith and prayer are the vitamins of the soul; man cannot live in health without them.” - Mahalia Jackson
“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” - Corrie ten Boom
“Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading.” - Oswald Chambers
“I do not pray for success, I ask for faithfulness.” - Mother Teresa
“Remember that the smallest seed of faith is of more worth than the largest fruit of happiness.” - Henry David Thoreau
“The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.” - Confucius
